Dear St. Joseph Families, Happy Easter! We are now into the holy season of Easter where we acknowledge and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. We spent forty days journeying to this point through prayer, fasting and almsgiving. We appreciate your assistance in helping with the our almsgiving project, partnering with St. Vincent De Paul Society to collect food items for the poor. Now, we move into the season where we will honor our Lord through the reception of the Sacraments of First Communion for our 2nd graders this Saturday. Next month, our 8th graders will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

As you are aware, our campus has an important addition. We are now employing Caddo Parish Sheriff Deputies to serve as resource officers at our school. We have regularly assessed upgrades to security for our campus and finding trusted law enforcement to be on site is a critical step. I appreciate the support shown to our deputies. Our students and faculty members have communicated with them and are helping them to feel right at home. I invite all parents to do so as well. Additionally, I hope to answer additional questions for you at any time regarding such matters.

Parents, you are also aware that spring is a time when registration for the upcoming school year opens up. Please continue to register for next year so that we can make the appropriate plans for your child. REMEMBER! Applications for tuition assistance close on Tuesday, April 18th. You can only apply for assistance after you have completed the registration process. If you need any assistance with such matters, please communicate with the school office. We want to make this as simple of a process as possible. Have a great week! St. Joseph, pray for us.
