Dear St. Joseph Families,

Do you read Page 2 of the Falcon News? It is important because it is virtue of the month. August’s virtue is also thematic for the entire year. As you see, this month is the virtue of hope and the saint we strive to imitate is St. Jude. It is asked that you take the time to read over the virtues with your children and reflect on how they may live more virtuous in their day to day lives. Look at the life of the saint and examine how living like him or her will help them to live out their calling.

You will notice a new saint on the first Monday of every month. We try to acknowledge Christian witnesses the first Wednesday of every month. That is the person in the grade who either set the best example in this particular virtue or someone that has shown the most growth. This year’s virtue award winners will receive a free dress day pass for setting an amazing example.

St. Joseph believes in healthy and effective partnership between home and school. One of these matters is to form strong relationships with our children/students.

Please save the date for Wednesday, September 16th On that evening at 5:30 PM in the school gym, Mr Davis who is a known counselor, speaker, and author, will present to parents and students who wish to attend on building strong relationships, healthier kids, and kinder communities. It is a very important and informative presentation that we at St. Joseph hope that families will consider attending. We hope that everyone has a great week and blessed finish to the month of August. St. Joseph, pray for us.
