Dear St. Joseph Families,
Again, welcome to the 75th year of academic excellence in a faith-focused environment at St. Joseph Catholic School. What an exciting time to be a part of our Falcon Family! Whether you are a legacy family, whether your children have attended here for 10 years, or if you are brand new to S.J.S. community, we hare happy that you have found a home here.
If you are not familiar, this is our weekly newsletter- The Falcon News. Each week, we will send out information regarding the school, the weekly and monthly happenings, ways to get involved, and things to celebrate. Being our diamond anniversary year, we plan to highlight parts of our school each week, so stay tuned! As you can see, the most pressing activities are located to the right of this page. We will do our best to update information through text alerts, Bloomz, and email.
At the start of each school year, the students are given three challenges on the first day of school. This year, the challenges looked like this:
- Pray for your academic success everyday
- Before the year gets started, stop all unkind behavior
- Choose to make one person’s day by telling them by reminding them why they are amazing
Parents and Faculty, it is important that you provide this reminder for your child everyday. In addition, each month, we highlight a virtue and a saint that we should adopt to live out and be like. Our path is one that should lead us to heaven. We cannot get there without living the life to which Christ calls us. Let us have an amazing year and God bless all of our students! St. Joseph, pray for us.
