Dear St Joseph Families,

We were very happy to be back to normal last week! With that, we also had a number of illnesses make their rounds. They seem to have continued into this week. This bears the reminder that if your child has symptoms of fever, vomiting, or diarrhea, the child must be without such symptoms for at least 24 hours without the aid of medication. With Grandparents Day coming up, let’s do our best to lessen the spread of germs on campus. Take vitamins, wash your hands, and stay home when sick!

Our book fair is this week. Please take time to set up an e-wallet so that the students do not misplace their money. Also, read through our scheduled times for our classes to shop at book fair during school hours. Remember that book fair will be open in the Family Life Center on Grandparents Day. When you get to book fair, keep an eye out for teacher wish lists!

Speaking of Grandparents Day, this is always one of the most special days of the year. We love having multiple generations of families on campus at once! We will begin in the gym at 8:30 AM. There will be breakfast in the cafeteria and book fair again in the FLC. All students must be checked out with their homeroom teacher. School will let out at noon and there is no after school care provided.

REMINDER: all cell phones are to be powered down and put away. For middle school, powered down means in one’s locker. No exceptions. Parents, thank you for reminding your students of this policy. Have a great week, everyone! St. Joseph, pray for us.
