Dear St. Joseph Families,

As we prepare for Thanksgiving break (I know we are all chomping at the bit), I wanted to communicate with you about your involvement in the upcoming process through Lumen Accreditation. In past years, St. Joseph has gone through the accreditation process through SACS, AdvancED, and most recently through Cognia. As we still maintain accreditation, St. Joseph will participate in the diocesan-wide accreditation process with our 5 sister schools. Lumen is a Catholic accreditation company, based out of Catholic University in Washington, DC. An important aspect of the process is to acquire information from stakeholders. You, the parents of St. Joseph Catholic School, are some of the most if not the key stakeholders in this community. It is essential to acquire information and data from you. In the upcoming weeks, you will have an opportunity to participate in two separate surveys. The surveys will be a series of close-ended questions to which you can provide feedback that will assist the school not only in the accreditation process but in future endeavors as well. Parents will be notified by the administration when the surveys will be sent out. Additionally, faculty members and students in grades 5th-8th will also participate in separate surveys themselves. Surveys will be anonymous and will be kept for administrative purposes. As always, thank you for your support in helping St. Joseph Catholic School in becoming the best place for children to be educated and formed in the Catholic tradition. 3 important reminders: -Bishop Malone will be celebrating Mass on Wednesday so join us! -Our Lady Falcons are in the Playoffs! Come out to Byrd and cheer on both teams! -Scan the QR Code on the right for Annual Fund Giving!
