Patience is a virtue that most of us do not care for. We want what we want because we be-lieve we deserve it, and we want it right then and there. Patience requires us to rely on others for assistance, direction, and provisions. Sometimes, patience requires us to realize how we are not in control over such matters. If patience teaches us anything, it is us how small we are and that we must rely on God to tend to our needs in His time– even when we feel we are right.

We have been asked to show patience in deal-ing with mandates. We do not always care for these but some we choose to take them on the chin. We all wish for our children to go to school without masks and be able to see their teacher’s and friends’ faces again. Still, poli-cies have stated that schools will wear them until the end of the year. Let us pray for such relief to come in a prudent manner and that we can accept any changes that come our way.

Patience has brought us to the end of this school year. Without your patience we would not be here. Thank you for displaying such a virtue with us and for your constant support. May God reward you!
