Dear St. Joseph Families,

Welcome to 2025! This year almost seems like something that we once heard in sci-fi movies when we were going up with flying cars and in-home robots. We’re not exactly there but not far off either! It appears that 2025 is off to a difficult start for some. Let us pray for those who are experiencing tragedy in our own state. Let us keep in prayer those who lost their lives in a recent terrorist attack in New Orleans and for the consolation of their families. Let us also keep in prayer our brothers and sisters at St. John Berchmans School as they grieve the loss of Mrs. Melissa Waters, one of their beloved faculty members. May they all rest in peace.

Maybe while we are in prayer for others, we are reminded of such an important gift that we do have- a school environment that allows us to not only pray but encourages us to do so regularly, fostering a relationship with God Himself. Whether it is a heart full of sorrow, or being mindful of all the many blessings in our lives, maybe 2025 can be a year in which we all return to prayer. Please know that our school community, part of our church parish, offers prayer all of you daily. You can also request prayers for specific intentions through our Falcon Angels led by Ms. Jackie Woods. Please reach out to her if you have such needs via email at: falconangels@sjsfalcons.org

Let us pray for a very successful semester for the students of St. Joseph Catholic School and for this to be a time to grow in faith and virtue. Happy 2025, everyone! St. Joseph, pray for us.
