Snow Days and Spring Time

What an unbelievable extended break we have had. We hope that all families are appreciating the thawing of our community during this time. It is important that we get back to school as soon as possible. Currently, we are slated to return on Wednesday, February 24th. Of course, this will mean a need send water for the students from home. The cafeteria will observe re-quired guidelines for cooking and cleaning in such situations.

It is understood that the families in our community prefer in-person learning. Virtual learning will al-ways require a greater effort for both families and the school to provide an education in such a manner. That is why we only wish to utilize the virtual platform when it is absolutely necessary. A prime example of this is when students are required to quarantine due to Covid protocol. Thank you for your understanding and willingness to remain flexible during this process of returning to campus. Guidance changes regularly on such matters and we strive to communicate as quickly as possible with our families.

Spring Break is just around the corner. Before spring arrives, it is important to remember that we are enter-ing the sacred liturgical season of Lent. On the follow-ing pages, you will see information about how Lent, the liturgical period of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, will prepare our hearts and minds to answer a deeper call to holiness. We hope that this time of strict disci-pline will prepare us all for the upcoming celebration of the Risen Christ on Easter Sunday.
