Dear St. Joseph Families,
As you can see in the ad to the right, this is another opportunity for individuals to visit St. Joseph Catholic School and learn more about what we have to offer. You, current members of the school and faith community, are some of the most important forms of getting the word out. While you can share this on our social media pages and with all your friends, one of the most effective ways to get the word out is simply by word of mouth. Whether you are a family that has been here for a number of years or if this is your first year at SJS, spreading the word about what you love about St. Joseph Catholic School is an important way to bring in new families.
Our wonderful Falcon Family is a valuable part of St. Joseph Catholic School. What better way to get to know the other families than by attending some of the most important events of the year, which are coming up in early December? First, Pancakes with Santa will be held on Saturday, December 6th. This event is not just for current school families, so if you want someone to experience what it is like at St. Joseph, invite them to one of the best mornings of the school year.
St. Joseph Catholic Church is an amazing place, and we are blessed to be a part of this vibrant parish life. This December, what better way to start off the Advent season than by attending a great parish mission? Additionally, the church is reviving the St. Nick’s Feast and Gumbo Cook-Off. Sign up to compete!
At the heart of every Catholic school is the call to service. We are assisting Loyola’s FAiTH Project by collecting canned goods. Remember! Friday is the deadline to bring in items to help meet the needs of others in our community. We have a number of canned goods, but let’s keep it going, keeping in mind that feeding the hungry is a critical work of mercy. St. Joseph, pray for us.
