Dear St. Joseph Families,

Welcome back, Falcons! We hope you had a wonderful Fall Break! A 5-Day weekend probably felt much-needed for the entire family.

If you were on campus last Thursday, you probably noticed that we had some visitors around campus, in the classroom, interviewing students, faculty, and parents. This is part of the accreditation process through Lumen. Most of us have gone through a process of accreditation before, whether as a student or parent. You may have seen organizations like SACS or Cognia in the past. Essentially, a school seeks accreditation to validate the quality of education at the school, ensuring coursework and credits transfer, and to maintain eligibility for specific benefits. Our diocese has elected to seek a system accreditation through Lumen, which focuses on the accreditation of Catholic schools. The process will continue throughout the school year, and we will have visitors once again, coming in March.

Fall is festival season. This means one of the most exciting events of the year is right around the corner-FALCON FEST! It is hard to believe this is the 5th annual festival. Featuring games, rides, food, drink, live music, and fellowship, this promises to be a great evening for the entire St. Joseph Community. Order your t-shirts by Thursday! Wristbands are still for sale. Remember that you don’t have to be a SJS family to attend. The event is open to all! Scan the QR Code to make your purchases, and we hope to see you there!

St. Joseph, pray for us.
