Dear St. Joseph Families,

At St. Joseph we encourage our families to be involved in the life of the Church. During Lent, we are called to increase the practice of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. This is done in order to journey more closely with our Lord throughout the Lenten season. If you glance to the right, you will see that we are working with the St. Vincent DePaul Society to help feed the hungry in our local community. Each Friday, students can bring in items requested to their homeroom class. As you can see, the first item is canned fruit. Thank you in advance for your kindness and consideration.

I ask that you put in prayer all of our students who are on the tail-end of the journey towards the Sacraments of initiation. First, we have about 5 students (and a parent) who will enter the Church at the Easter Vigil. Remember that in April and May, 2nd grade will make their First Communion and 8th Grade will receive Confirmation. I draw this to your attention because Lent was originally put in place for individuals who were preparing to enter into the life of the Church. Let us utilize our prayer time wisely in praying for those individuals most dear to us.

Registration is ongoing. Remember that in order to take advantage of our early bird registration fee, you must be registered by March 1st. While in the registration process, I want to point out something to you. FACTS offers $20 tuition insurance. I know it isn’t something we wish to think about, but in the case of the untimely passing of a parent, it will ensure that the cost of tuition is covered for 12 months. Something to consider when completing your registration process. St. Joseph, pray for us.
