Dear St Joseph Families,
Kindness is a virtue of significant importance and cannot be downplayed.
As Page 2 explains, it is the expression of genuine concern for others’ well-being. It is easy for us to keep receipts for times when someone has not shown us kindness. Just because someone has not lived the virtue does not mean we should stop living it out. An abyss can only be filled with a flood. We can only overcome a lack of kindness by being kind all the more. Let us never forget this. It is important to discuss this at home with our children. It is important that they choose to be the witness they are called to be when others are not.
St. Joseph Catholic School should always be a place where virtues are not only taught, but practiced. It is not always perfect, but we strive for it. Keep this in mind as the 2026-27 school year approaches. Families will choose schools where they believe their child will not only fit in, but also be in an environment to flourish among their peers. Many new families will begin touring our school; this is the exact virtue we desire for them to see and know from our students, faculty members, families, and administration.
Do you know someone who is looking for the right school where virtue can be practiced each day? Families can go to the school website to sign up for a tour today. You may also recommend that they come
to our open house at the end of the month (see the ad to the right). Have a great week, everyone! St. Joseph, pray for us.
