Dear St. Joseph Families,

Our school was blessed to have another great visit from Lance Thompson and Dream Big! The message is always positive, inspiring, and an opportunity for someone outside of the community to witness to our students. We are grateful to community sponsors such as Dilla’s Quesadillas and Sterling Dental who sponsored the event. We also loved having Dilla the Gorilla here with us as well. Lance shared 3 important steps with our students when it comes to accomplishing big dreams:

This is excellent advice for young people. I am sure that our parents remembered the dreams they had when they were in school. You know what you wanted to do or to be. No doubt, accomplishing a dream requires energy, discipline, and faith. How hard are you willing to work to see this come to fruition? Our students are capable of accomplishing great things. If you have a dream come true story as a former SJS student, we’d love to hear from you!

IMPORTANT: Applications for the Arete Scholarship open on Tuesday, February 25th. Families who financially qualify who have a child going into kindergarten or moving from public school ought to apply. Applications for the LA GATOR Scholarship open on Saturday, March 1st. Please take advantage of this opportunity. Remember that March 1 is also the end of early bird registration so register your child soon for the 2025-26 school year. Let us continue to pray for the health of our Holy Father, Pope Francis, at this critical time. St. Joseph, pray for us.
