Dear St. Joseph Families,
The 4th Quarter. In a sporting event such as football or basketball, everyone- even the fans- gets on their feet, takes a big breath, digs deep, and strives to do their best in hopes of leaving their time victorious. The same level of energy and effort should be spent on academics. For those doing well, it is not a time to “take it easy.” For those who are struggling, it is time to fight even harder. As parents, let’s support our students to do their best. As educators, we will provide the guidance needed to help them succeed. Let’s do it!
This is an important week at St. Joseph Catholic School as our Lumen Accreditation On-Campus Visit takes place. It is our time to shine when we give our visitors a glimpse of what a day in the life of our school is like. Our faculty and students will continue on with a normal routine- but we ask that all students have a good night’s rest, arrive on time, and look their best in their school uniform.
Don’t forget to come out to Loyola and cheer on our Varsity Falcons as they take on Southfield in the first round of the playoffs. Tip-Off is at 6:30 PM tonight. Wednesday is our annual Father’s Day Mass. Yes, it is the day before the feast of St. Joseph, but we had to keep the date due to our on-campus visit. Invite dad to come to our 8:15 AM school Mass! Spring Fling is Thursday evening. See the attached flyer for more information regarding the event!
Let’s have a great week and do our best!
St. Joseph, pray for us.
