Dear SJS Families,

Our first week of school has come and gone. It is a blessing to see so many returning families as well as new families. Please give us time to match all names with faces. This week, we have Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 18 th at 6:00 PM. Due to concerns for COVID-19, we are making some adjustments for how this will work:

  • Only for grades 1st-8th
  • All guests ages 5 and up are required to wear a mask.
  • Last name starting with A-L are to begin at 6:00 PM and will report to your child’s homeroom.
  • Last name beginning with M-Z are to begin at 6:45 PMand will report to your child’s homeroom.
  • First grade parents will report to your child’s homeroom only.
  • Grades 2-5 will report to their child’s homeroom class.
  • After their presentation, you will rotate to your child’s partner teacher next door.
  • Middle School parents will be able to go to their child’s homeroom and will rotate according to their child’s schedule.

We are making these changes due to increased concerns for health and safety. Again, there is a rise in COVID cases in our area. As we say with students, please stay home if you are sick.

After Wednesday, you may reach out for information you have may missed due to illness. Thank you for understanding and adapting to the changes as we strive to provide the best in Catholic education for your children.
