Happy Catholic Schools Week!

We are excited to celebrate this week with you and we are honored to be your Catholic School. How much do you know about the history of St. Joseph Catholic School?

  • In 1951, Fr Gremil-lion brought in the Sisters of Divine Providence along with several lay teachers as the first faculty.
  • Our first principal was Sr. Theonilla who oversaw 102 students.
  • On September 17, 1951, the pastor drove the school bus to pick up students for the first day of school. 

September 17, 2021 will be our 70th anniversary.

As this is our 70th year and the year of St. Joseph, we consider this a very blessed time to be part of such an excellent community of faith and academics.

Let us pray for our school and that this year is one we remember as an important one in the history of SJS. Join us this week in celebrating our 70th year in faith, excellence, and service.
