Welcome back to another excellent semester at St. Joseph Catholic School! We pray that 2021 will bring many blessings. Two great blessings that we experienced at SJS this year were the sound of young children who are excited to be back at school after a 5-month hiatus. It is a joy to teach them each and every day– even if it is on an I-pad screen due to a quarantine. In our mission, we state that we are to provide an authentically Catholic education directed towards academic ex-cellence and the formation of each child in the virtues of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We strive to do this each and everyday and are grateful that you have chosen us to do so. 

The second blessing to mention is that we, all of us at St. Joseph Catholic School, was voted as the best private school in the Shreveport-Bossier area. It is humbling that we were selected for such an honor. I know that many of you chose to vote in the SB Magazine for your school for different reasons but I would do so because I know that the community that surrounds SJS supports us in our mission. We hope that you invite friends and family to attend the open house coming up on February 3rd so that too may know the blessings that we experience as we enter our 70th year in Catholic education.
