Dear St. Joseph Families,

Everyone is aware that registration for the 2022-2023 school year has begun. I wish to draw your attention to the fact that on WEDNESDSAY, MARCH 1ST, the cost of registration goes up $50. This means that registration’s cost will be $350. Please take time to register your child for next school year. Again, the registration fee will be the only cost at the time of registration. All other school fees will be due by the end of June.

Do not forget, there are tuition assistance opportunities available for families in k5-8th Grade. Please fill out the information in FACTS for tuition assistance with the Diocese of Shreveport as well as those who are eligible to apply for the Msgr. Murray Clayton Scholarship Fund through St. Joseph Catholic Church. It is important to provide the requested information in a timely manner. The cut-off date for financial aid applications will be be TUESDAY, APRIL 18TH.

Finally, if you have a child that will be in grades K5-8th that is not currently enrolled those grades at St. Joseph Catholic School, you may be eligible for a scholarship through programs known as ACE at https://www.acescholarships.org/become-a-scholar/louisiana/and ARETE by going to https://www.aretescholars.org/parents/louisiana-parents/apply-now. These are private scholarships that generally assist with roughly $4,300 in tuition assistance. All that is required is to be be found eligible and to be selected. It is worth the time to do such paperwork to ensure that Catholic education is affordable. St. Joseph, pray for us.
