Dear SJS Families, The virtue of faith is our focus for the year. Often, this is a challenging virtue. There are times that God Himself will challenge us to grow in the virtue when we simply cannot see the answer clearly. We never fully understand the manner of His plan or how His plan will unfold. Staying faithful, trusting in the Lord is still what we are called to do.

It was communicated at last week’s PTO meeting that the HVAC in our school cafeteria, something each child and faculty member uses, has broken and needs to be replaced. The question came up is how to effectively utilize the funds for such an important need. While a motion passed at the PTO meeting as to which direction to take, I am pleased to announce that, through the generosity of a private donor, the cost of a new HVAC is covered. This is truly a blessing that was unexpected but is certainly well-received.

Let us not lose sight on what is important during this school year. There will be difficult moments, disagreements, worry, but they do not need not overwhelm us with anxiety over the unknown. Let us stay our course, do our good work, and have faith in the work of the Lord- especially when He prompts the hearts of others to care for our school. Have an amazing week! St. Joseph, pray for us.
