Dear St. Joseph Families,

Thank you is something we often hear for our contributions but I feel like it is never said enough. I wish to say thank you to our parents who gave of their time and energy last week to make Catholic Schools Week a success. Two of my favorite parts of Catholic Schools Week are the Sunday Mass and the Open House. Our students dress in school uniform on Sunday while serving, singing, and reading. People in the parish know me by now and were quick to tell me how impressed they were by our students. Thank you for having your kids there to display their talents and to answer the call to serve.

Thank you to the parents who came to serve at our Open House. It is an important night where other families want to know more about SJS and to begin the discernment process about where to enroll their children. Whether setting up for the night with organizing and decorating, providing personal testimony of positive experiences, facilitating conversations between guests and faculty, it was truly an exciting night.

I also wish to thank everyone who contributed to the Penny Wars competition. SJS raised funds for Mary’s House, a local organization who assists mothers who said yes to life and need some additional assistance. Funds raised will provide families with supplies and support needed in caring for a newborn. To our Falcon Family, I say THANK YOU.

St. Joseph, pray for us.
