Dear St. Joseph Families,
One quarter down, and three to go! I want to take time to say congratulations to our students who worked so hard to accomplish so much in the first nine weeks of school. Do not forget that we have parent-teacher conferences set up for THIS FRIDAY. These meetings are important because they allow for teachers and parents to discuss what is going well for the student and where the child may need to improve. Remember that it is a relationship between home and school that permits a student to be most successful. Please be open to the information that comes from the teacher and maybe share concerns you have for your child at that time. Good communication will lead to success for the rest of the school year.
We invite you to attend several exciting activities coming up over the next couple of weeks. On October 26, our students will be presenting a celebration of Spanish culture. Ms. Sanchez’s classes have worked very hard to put on this wonderful celebration. October 27th is our Academic Awards Ceremony. It will be held in the church on Thursday afternoon. Additionally, our middle school will have their Halloween Pep Rally on October 31st. It is a lot of fun so we hope you can attend! Finally, on November 1st, we will celebrate All Saints Day. This is a holy day of obligation so we are required to go to Mass that day. Additionally, our K5 students will be putting on their annual Parade of Saints and we know you will not want to miss this beautiful celebration! St. Joseph, pray for us.
