Dear St. Joseph Families,
We enter Holy Week, when we make final preparations for the celebration of the Paschal Mystery of Christ. We will have our Living Stations of the Cross performed on Holy Thursday by our 8th-grade class. We will gather at 8:15 AM for our first performance for our school and then again at 9:30 AM, as they will perform for the parish. We invite all of our families to attend this beautiful tradition at St. Joseph Catholic School.
This past weekend, St. Joseph Catholic School students performed their musical, Dare to Dream, Jr. They put on two performances and did an excellent job for such a very young cast. We wish to give a special thank-you to Mrs. Laura Nugent for directing our musical, and to Miss Dara Pressley, who filled in to assist during her short time here at our school. We appreciate everyone who came out to support them. We hope that next year is an even bigger production, becoming a new tradition at St. Joseph.
Finally, as the year progresses, students go through growth spurts and changes. Please remember our dress code policy, which is located in our student-parent handbook. Parents, several boys have been prompted about the length of their hair. Ladies go through growth spurts at times, so it is important to check the length of skirts. All reminders are given so that our students look their best in their uniform, each and every day. We hope that you have a blessed Easter break. St. Joseph, pray for us.
