Dear St. Joseph Families,

Welcome to the new school year at St. Joseph Catholic School! We welcome 320 students through our doors and we pray that each one experiences the blessings of almighty God each day on our campus. We are also blessed to have seen numbers increase for the 4th consecutive school year. While we continue to grow, we hope that each person feels like they are part of a loving Falcon Family. This morning, the students were challenged to be 3 things. Please reflect on these with your children.

They are:

BE COMPASSIONATE- our words and our actions have a lot of power. What sort impact do you wish to have.

BE READY- show up every day on time and be attentive in class. Do this everyday without excuse.

BE A SAINT- this is what we are called to be. Be the person who chooses to make a difference.

There are some changes around the campus. We have upgraded our surveillance around the property. We have also changed out all of the old entry mats with updated logos and colors. Our doors at the front of the school also provide increased security through visibility with security film. One of the more saddening changes that is taking place this year is that Ms. Peggy Gremillion will be retiring. Those of you who know her, know that Ms. Peggy has been a strong rock for many in the school community, serving as a familiar face in the office. If you know Ms. Peggy, you know that she likes to do things in her own quiet way without much fanfare. While that is difficult for us, we respect the wishes of a woman who is important to all of us.  St. Joseph, pray for us.
