Dear St. Joseph Families,
Happy Easter! Remember that the Easter season is to be celebrated for 50 days! We pray that everyone had a truly grace-filled Easter break. Congratulations to the members of our school and parish community who were baptized and confirmed in the faith at Easter Vigils in our local area. Let us pray for our second- and eighth-graders who will receive the sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation in the coming weeks.
It would not be springtime without testing week. That’s right, spring testing is next week! Each spring, students in grades 3rd-8th at St. Joseph Catholic School will take part in the annual Terra Nova Testing. This test is also taken by Catholic students throughout the state to demonstrate mastery in all core subjects, including reading, language arts, and math. Please know that it is important that students get a good night’s rest, eat a good breakfast, and get to school before 7:45. Students who arrive at school at 8 AM or later will not be permitted into the testing classrooms. To this note, it bears repeating that students must be on time for school.
Don’t forget! Progress Reports will go home THIS WEDNESDAY! Please check your child’s Wednesday folder for paperwork, and contact the school office if you do not receive your child’s report. See the schedule below for this year’s volleyball season! Go Lady Falcons! St. Joseph, pray for us.
