Dear St. Joseph Families,
As we continue to pray for the repose of the soul of the late Pope Francis, our Church also begins to prepare for the Papal Conclave. This is when the eligible cardinals gather at the Vatican, meeting behind locked doors, to elect the successor of St. Peter and the Vicar of Christ. Let us dedicate our selves to praying for the future Holy Father. Whether we are Catholic or not, this is a decision that will impact Christianity and our world. Let us pray for those with a vote to discern the will of the Holy Spirit. Let us pray for the rightful candidate to hear the voice of the Lord and to respond accordingly.
On Tuesday, May 6th, St. Joseph Catholic School will participate in the annual Give for Good campaign. It is another opportunity for families to support the mission of St. Joseph through charitable giving. We ask that you prayerfully consider giving to this important cause for our school.
Please keep our second and eighth grade students in your prayers as they will receive the sacraments over the next two weekends. This week, our second graders will receive First Reconciliation and First Communion, while our eighth graders will receive Confirmation next Saturday. St. Joseph, pray for us.
