Dear SJS Families,

I invite you all to attend the 7th and 8th boys basketball game on Tuesday at 6:30 PM at Loyola’s basketball gym. The game is for the league championship against First Baptist. Come out and join our cheer squad to support our team.

This Wednesday is a special day. As we were unable to do so last year, and the event was postponed this year, St. Joseph 4th-8th students will attend the All Schools Mass at St. John Berchmans Cathedral. Our students will join other students from Loyola and St. John Berchmans. Due to capacity limits, we are unable to bring any additional guests but if you go to the cathedral’s Facebook page, you will be able to view the Mass there. ALL STUDENTS IN GRADES 4-8 MUST BE IN FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM AND ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND!

This week is also student council week. Grades 6-8 will have several fun days to dress up or dress down. Student Council will have multiple fun activities for the school. Elections will be held on Thursday morning and there will be a dance for grades 5th-8th on Friday evening. This week, as we have all schools Mass on Wednesday, we will have a special rosary for the entire school. This will be in the gym on Friday immediately after KJOE. Don’t forget to sign up for camps.
